| I'm sick of waiting for the person who said they were going to change
my xanga for me actually do it. I'm trying to change it myself , but I
hardly know what I'm doing. Does anybody want to help me?
I think this has been one of the best Christmas's in years. The actual
winter break hasn't been that thrilling , but all the presents I got
were. Sometimes I'm happy when Christmas is over because then I can go
out and spend all of the money and gift cards I received on
after-Christmas sales. Today I bought a really cute guess bag
that I'm going to use for my school stuff and a present for Amanda that
I hope she'll enjoy.
I can't wait to see The Phantom of the Opera. I have to see that before
break is over. Has anyone seen the trailer for the Willy Wonka remake?
It's quite amusing.

| Today was Thanksgiving. It was interesting but definetely not eventful.
Thanksgiving has never been one of my favorite holidays because it is
one of the few in which you don't give or receive presents. Wow, that
makes me sound really materialistic. Either way the holiday is still
good because we get a five day break. Lately I've been doing a lot of
new activities like debate, STUCO, cappies, and being the
co-housemanager with Mollie for Over the River and Through the Woods.
Mike and I even joined scholar bowl.

| Now that people actually comment on my xanga I feel an obligation to
write even though I never think I ever have anything interesting to
talk about. Well today I got my test back in pre-AP biology and
it was so pitiful. I studied and thought I knew the material, but
apparently not.  I think I need a tutor from the AP class.
On a happier note I really do like all of my other classes and I even
enjoy pre-AP when we don't take those horrible tests.  I know it
sounds weird, but j'adore world cultures.
Simon tries to make it interesting by
saying the most random things. Today he told us
that Cleopatra and all her Egyptian friends knew that Octavion was
going to come and kill them after Marc Antony's death so they rode
their yacht up the Nile and got drunk and had orgies. I know I'm
completely changing subjects but I really want to see the second
Bridget Jones movie. The first movie and the book were good. I
know he's around 40 but I think Hugh Grant is my favorite Englishmen.
